I just had the cool shower and the iced coffee, but I haven't gotten in the nap yet.
I just gave away my best little electric fan to someone who needed it much worse than I and that made me feel good to. I'll probably go get me another one tomorrow at Target as there are times it comes in handy, and we're going to get heat-blasted over the weekend again.

Iced coffee sounds lovely. We are trying not to use our A/C because of the cost but when it is over 25 in the house it comes on auto. for us. I ain't going outside today at all.

Maybe I'm just lucky - I like heat, it relaxes me, I get lazy and don't get excited about anything much...And sitting in traffic never bothers me...Mind you, I don't listen to the radio but to music of my own choice - right now I've got discs of Maria Callas' divine voice in the thing...

Try not to get out in it Pat, I don't honestly think the sunshine is as nice as it was in the old days. That is very hot, cars really need insulating no one would sit in a tin shed.

I'd be finding an oasis of cool... a mall, a library, any place with AC.
Maybe a hotel, even, for the duration, if I could afford it.
