Judging the poem itself, I enjoyed it and thought it was quite good. As a matter of
fact, very good and if one of the more established poets on Blogit--like CCT, says it's
good, I would go with it.

i do not aspire to be a poet , just a way to put some of the crazy thoughts i have in the middle of the night on paper. i had a lot more fun getting the picture of the dogs.

Jean I can't understand why no one has commented, perhaps they did not have time before you put the doggies on view. However don't feel downhearted it is one of the better poems that have been posted. The sad thing is if folk always say something is brilliant the writer is inclined to stay at that level and not try to achieve anything better.

I'll listen Jean because everyone will say it is beautiful and it is in a way because it is straight from your heart. It is a job to write a really great poem I have tried but it alludes me. Of course we all want someone to love us, but unfortunately the price one has to pay is often heartbreaking. I'll read it again and see what others say.
