I often have worn socks with sandals
and I still can't figure out why anyone makes my footwear their concern.
Sandals breathe, allow for more room for feet that spread somewhat through the day, and are a great frame for the more exciting, even artsy socks. Maybe you could invest in some of those to go with your outfit.

Oh I remember those rotary dial phones. It was such a pain if you were in a hurry and there was no 911 back then either. You had to dial the operator and pray you got one that knew what she was doing!

Loved those toilets and am waiting to read what else you can find in the stores and how many stores that you can get yourself banned from!
And telephones!!!! My life was made when I had a phone with a long long cord like the films and walk trip over everything in the room as I chirped into the handpiece and carried the phone ...wearing high heeled fluffy pink Mules on my feet of course.
