Re: Thank you, Charcoal Heart
And yes, you are right. I guess I always thought--nothing money couldn't buy,
meaning a good editor. There is certainly a semicolon that could be questioned....
Although, I think of poetry writing as much more free to do what you want, compared
to other genres of writing. Thanks again, that is what we are here on Blogit for, to
better our skills and honest comments help that.

The way you wrote this poem stuck out to me. You did a fantastic job and, as a poet myself, I very much enjoyed reading this work. The imagery was fantastic and, though I did find some punctual mistakes - sorry, I am big on stuff like that - I didn't see much wrong! A great write!

Well done! As Krisles says - very evocative! Cemeteries are faint echoes of people's lives...

If you can find peace and perspective anywhere, I believe it is in a cemetery......I love them, always have. But, like Kabu, I doubt I'll end up in one....I don't care, what happens to my body once I die is up to my daughter - I've told her I truly don't care, and I don't. But your poem makes me wonder....wouldn't it be nice to have people enjoying those feelings, people I love or people I might, because they sense some lingering echo or think they do...and it adds something to their lives? I really like this.....very evocative🌺

Excellent, but don't bury me anywhere. Just shake my ashes free and I will float on the wind 'till I find my home.

The darker side of the new poet, I sometimes do walk the local cemetery V. Just to see who is neglecting who after giving them such adoration on the plaque. I like this one.
