Here's wishing you the best possible outcome on the eye surgery.
I was about to say it's probably even more important for you as a photographer to have perfect vision than it is for many of us, but I think good vision is a must for all of us. It's how we know where we are and what's going on. I had not heard of "wrinkled" retinas - but I can imagine the problems that would cause. Take care.

I had 5 years of nursing Cataract patients at a private clinic on a Wednesday. I loved spoiling them as I felt it was very brave of them to have their cataracts done. Yes when they came in for the second one they would be looking for me. LOL Of course the operation gives back the vision but if it not good because of other reasons there are no absolutes. The best of luck and I am sorry that you didn't sell your ties.
