I always had problems with the coaches. At our small school...back in the day..... your sports coaches always had to also carry their weight in the classroom with at least one subject - always math or history - probably the main reason I quit liking either all that much past puberty!

My Mother said one teacher would pinch the girls arms if they did bad work. I have seen a teacher thump a little boy's back, he just slid on the floor. Now it has probably gone too far the other way,

Teachers in the old days were tough and many times took advantage of the situation.

I was dead scared of almost all of my teachers at boarding school. Bo wonder i never learned anything.

My sisters warned me ahead of time about certain teachers and more times than not
they were spot on.
