CCT

We've had enough rain to last nus for a while... The poem? Pensive, nostalgic, thoughful and thought-provoking, as so many of yours...

Re:FS

Sometimes the potted plants need watering even on rainy days the foliage is not helpful.

Yes not a good way FS. We usually learn to late.

Re: We've had so much heavy, frequent rain here in middle America

I know Pat up in Scotland it has been cold and wet. Today for a change we have had misty showers, but not rain really. Could these be the start of the great warming?

We've had so much heavy, frequent rain here in middle America

that I haven't even brought out the hose and connected it to the faucet this year. By
this time in mid-July our green lawns have begun to parch and by mid-August there's no need to mow, because it doesn't grow when there's no rain. Our mid-day temps are usually hot enough to take the kids swimming, or force us indoors to escape the humidity. But we had our first 90+ days starting Friday - even as our neighbors living near rivers are mopping up or waiting for the flooding to recede so they can clear out their moldy layers of what used to be precious memories and furniture...

Even though the last month and a half has been rainy, the nearby nursery has been watering their flowers. I was surprised, figuring there has been enough preciptitation to do the job...An interesting way to look at love.
