so if someone is throwing a brick at me from their car, it would be better if they threw it after they passed me than before. so if they drop the brick from an overpass as my car is traveling under, how fast is the brick traveling that hits me? ?and can anything stop the speed of light? if it hits something does light travel through it or go around?

Excellent, I definitely learned something here.

Sometimes when I'm able to figure out someone's "angle" I can
adjust their velocity. It's a matter of deflecting their sales pitch. Not that my bit has anything to do with the wonder of cogitating on the speed of light and matters of relativity. I do enjoy reading your science bits and the strange ricochets my mind takes.

I did not know that the angle had such an effect on velocity.

Shame on me! I don't think about them at all! But, I'm sure if anyone can pique my interest in one scientist proving another wrong and how long it will take someone to find the error in that one's thinking...it will be you! Actually, the most interesting thing to me is how very interesting you find it all....and the pleasure with which you are able to present it all to us.

Come to think about it, light is a fast traveller. I don't know if it can be slowed down, Only blocked I suppose. We just don't normally think about these things.
