Re: Re:Ciel

Confusing and confounding... but worth a try. At least it clears up misunderstandings which otherwise may pointlessly end a relationship, or contort it to something it didn't have to be.

I learned this from watching soap operas in my youth.

Re:Ciel

The squirrels and rooks take most of ours the ones near me these days, I don't think many folk know what they are.Yes if only we had spoken occasionally about what we really thought, but that jungle is always confusing.

English walnuts are great with a bit of honey,

but I've never liked those other ones... black walnuts, with a very perfumey flavor.

The poem is sweet, ideals and memories set beside sad realities and silences that may or may not be necessary.  I've long believed that communication even about difficult things would reduce the sorrow and loneliness of the world.

Re:

I would have thought everyone would have eaten a least one walnut FS. Or half a one on a chocolate whirl.

It's time for plums - and that means also time for Slivovitsa, of course...And I do like your poem, sad though it is...

Great poem. It makes me wonder if I would let my pride get in the way with my own

child as I would a girlfriend or wife.

i love that poem and am most surprised that you don't like Cinnamon. I use it so much. It often takes the place of sugar. Sweetens food without adding the sugar.
