You do a great job showing why the Confederate Flag is so awful and have done a great job taking on Roof. I hope Roof does get the death penalty.

Very true. This is why we must honest with ourselves, and to others to a very blunt fault. Though tricky at times, laying it all out there may be the best thing out there, rather than holding back.
Very true, what we expose children to at a young age defines who they might become as an adult. Very well stated!

Rage though understandable is not the answer...the answer is in what we teach our children....what we expose them to as they grow...what beliefs we spread and indoctrinate them with...the covert messages sent by ignorant remarks against a person because of their race, religion, sexual orientation and color.

I cannot say that his ddeath will bring me much joy, but I do understand your rage against all that he stood for. I do believe that his action has turned on him in wonderful ways.
As an outsider I would have watched that flag fly and not thought about it but now I see it as a symbol as evil as the Nazi flag. Sure keep it in a museum and honor the dead, but teach the generations why it was taken down.
