It's certainly moving in the right direction. But I should mention that the seargent was right not just from a 'legal' standpoint, but from one of 'the need for setting priorities of police practice'! Having studied some of that in the past, I know of the extraordinary demand made on the limited resouces of police departments in virtually all jurisdictions...

Moving in the right direction so that your readers will accept what our friend is about to do. Vigilantes wouldn't be necessary if the law inforces were given some latitude instead of having to do everything by the book. One time a big burly policeman would go see this group of bullies and knock a few heads together and insist they turn up each everning to the Police Boys club.
And I was worried about you by yesterday. I am sure you are alright but I worry when we don't get a post.
