Re: VT01

Krisles, I've been looking at a lot of his stuff. He is becoming a favorite.

VT01

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay.

No V. you will attract older ladies, with your skillful poems if you dare to let them read the message.

1v

these poems are more than attempts, they draw pictures and feelings and take the reader along with them.

The theme of aging has lent itself to a lot of great poetry.

Re: Vt Naut

Thank you very much. No, this is definitely exaggerated; although, like most middle

aged folk, I am a little concerned. Not wanting to run the other day and my last post

inspired me to write this poem.

Your really good poem has set me realizing that Wiley and myself are there and on the days when it doesn't hurt too much life is great.

This is a very good poem - you have given gerascophobia a convincingly haunting voice, LOL...For your sake I only hope this is a general statement, not one that reflects your own fears...

I just love those long, gray, wirey eyebrows that geriatrics get,
and the mustache hairs on old ladies.
