Maybe once I master chess I'll understand this subject better Naut. I won two games today at Chess level 3

I'll make a deal to read....but you know how I feel about just about everything dealing with these subjects..........you, of course, will change my life completely I'm sure and I will develop a latent fascination with all things having to do with physics......(oh, dear, I hope you aren't too disappointed in me.....)(sob)(maybe I'm missing a gene or something?...is that possible, Professor?)(yawn?)(oops!Did I just do that outloud?!)(OMG)(How rude....I'm just going to tiptoe across to one of your wonderful poetry lectures.....or, I'm still analyzing the data in the moderate Muslim piece....see, I don't really trust polls....oops! Didn't mean to say that outloud, either! Dang!)....leaving now...

Yes, I like your science posts. Do muslims study physics and chemistry or only Qu'ran?

Chemistry is not my bag either. Anyway, I think I need to dig into my Physics books
to keep up with this class. I have three of them but obviously I haven't read them much.

Well it is hard going for me Naut, but my brother Arthur would love it. One of his interests which he tries to explain to me at times. We really should be more aware of things that some folk have spent a lifetime studying.

So it's location location location for theories in physics as well Naut.

A good deal of what I'm learning about physics and all these
"everything" theories comes from my devoted attention to "The Big Bang Theory," a comedy show on TV about a bunch of young science nerds. They have had personal appearances on the show by Steven Hawking, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, and the Science Friday radio guy, Ira Flatow, and one or two of the astronauts. So the big names in science history are worked into the story lines, theories very lightly explained as part of the humor. So far, these have been congruent with your posts. Maybe beyond my ken, but eventually some of it will sink in. Thanks, Naut.

I had never heard of Planck. An interesting realization he came to with regard to particule physics.

Naut says
"Actually, I may even discuss these two theories at some point in greater detail, especially if there’s a demand."
Yes Please Naut...
