glad to hear your innards are no longer acting up!
What I like best about this cookshack story is that it shows the desperation and yet, determination of a mom who clearly had courage and love in her, no matter how worn down they got.

Any one who has a brush with the big C I believe is wary of a return and a good writer has to be somewhat of a Drama Queen...how can we work if we don't have a vivid imagination. Wiley and I can spin a tale between us about almost anything, Create paranoia in a moment, joy in another.
I am we are, so relieved that you changed your doctor for the better.

The fear of what you didn't know was worse than what you actually had thankfully. A nice beginning for your bio...keep going we are all waiting for the next installment.

I am so very glad you are over that misery and are feeling well! Sometimes a change of doctor is all one needs, LOL...Of course exercise and a proper diet (not 'dieting' as I have done at times, but never again) are essential to one's well-being as well, (he says, with a glint of the fanatic in his eye, LOL).
And this story was superbly well done! I'm sure many of us realized there was some autobiography 'baked' into it...
