I am much happier and less stressed since I have left the management field. And I
have to admit there is something I like about Trump.

Well if you feel you are doing good, or in some way easing someone's pain it must be somewhat satisfying. There are so many occupations that release a somewhat negative response and that must eventually be rather soul destroying.

It seems that with technology more inefficiency has occurred. My belief is that most technology cannot truly replace a human being. Sadly, that has gotten lost in the shuffle so rather than to have technology supplement us, it is replacing us. Robert Recih recently wrote that with the way technology is replacing jobs, putting people out of work or making them unemployed, Communism may end up having to occur.
While there are a lot of people dismiss Trump, there are definitely things he said that I feel a fair amount of people would find resonating with them.

The way things are developing, we're going to end up outsourcing our whole damn economy, LOL...And if The Donald wants to be taken seriously he should begin by doing something about his hair...

I used to work for an insurance company as a Senior Office Assistant. This was a glorified term for someone who processes the claims mail.
The company in its infinite lack of wisdom decided outsource our jobs. They chose a company in India (big shock, right?) and partnered with a company in Los Angeles that employed mainly people who spoke Spanish.
They hired one of my coworkers to go to LA and teach them how to prep the mail. She of course didn't know Spanish. She did her usual and wound up being the manager's girlfriend. She showed up when she felt like it. Used the company card to fly her friends to LA to party with her.
The men in India treated the women who went there to teach them how to do their job like crap. They didn't want to listen to a woman and did things the way they wanted.
We lost our jobs. One year later they admitted the mistake when they were bought out by another company.

Hope I didn't mess up everything. Yes I remember those days. All the stuff today is crazy as a goose. Oh I can imagine how sad it is to hear these people after all the trouble and more is on the way.

Nonsense is the only word ...I remember at one of the big hospitals where I was nursing they cut back on staff. Mainly by not replacing those who left. Anyway, most areas could not work without the required number of staff so the Hospital was forced to bring in more expensive agency staff. Some of them worked the same job for several years all the time being paid more than us, plus the agency fees. Yeah one wonders some times.
