Well still very dry here Ciel, it becomes boring watering for three hours but the perennial- plants are shooting up now and one has to take care of them. It is a job to get a nice basket, you spotted that one just right, don't forget the occasional dose of plant food. I hope Charlie wears something a bit more suitable for his construction work, not his uniform. Seems a bit dodgy, but I suppose he knows what he is doing. Hope the pay is good.

Long chilly springs probably caused them to prolong their sojourning in warmer climes.
How about some pictures of your garden? How's that mighty cactus doing?

According to some aboriginal beliefs, it takes the same time for a body to travel overland by shank's mare to a destination, for spirit to catch up. In which case, I should be good in about 3 years... Longer, if a swim is involved.

We have some nice begonias amd also a special hummingbird feeder - but we also have a dearth of hummers this year - haven't seen one yet...

Mom used to raise angel wing begonias, a lovely salmon pink variety.
She had the touch with green and growing things. I know your basket must be lovely.
