Well, of course, he was pouting.....although I believe males generally acknowledge sulking more readily than pouting. But, I would celebrate, for I view it as a sign of intelligence.....what self-respecting intelligent being would just follow you around, and wait on your every whim like a....a...well, like a dog?! My cats cats certainly pout! And there is hell to pay if I really piss them off!LOL!

Of course they do...and certain doggies will take revenge one way or the other too. Nothing too drastic, mind you - but something that will show their displeasure. How dare you not get up when Ben was ready?

I think he was. I believe many dogs are on an intelligence level of a three to five
year old kid--from what I have read.

Absolutely, of course he was sulking LOl. And there was no way he was going to talk to you until he was over his grump. Their emotions are so cute to watch but very real to him. Grau=ysome can very quickly send us to Coventry if we do something really bad like leave him too long in the screen porch or something.
