Re: Vermont01,

It was easier when there, to give up here, but it would be fine to live there and visit here. At least for a while.

Re: Pat,

The name was enough to make me want to visit, but what a great and happy discovery that it is practical to live in, too!

Re: Kabu,

And down the road, there is Wigglesworth, and down another road, the hamlet of Wham!

Re: Krisles,

The grass really is greener, like emeralds!  And I suspect, unless we are all dance and joy-hating puritans, we would not be so eager to run from there!

Re: CCT,

When I do, perhaps you will visit and we can sit in the garden over tea and tales.

Ciel

Beautiful photos, and I felt stirrings of ancestral recognition deep in my bones that I have a feeling would stun me if I visited in the flesh......that said, a visit I would love, but I have always found that while the grass may be greener to look at......  And then, there is that whole bit of why we all ran here, and the way things are going there - you know, the devil you know..... But I hope your decision is as well made as your photos🌸❤️🌳

I suppose we are never really aware of what we have. When you become rich you could buy a small cottage.. You could do strawberry teas and tell tales of your adventures.

And I agree with Pat and Kabu..... I guess there is no way we could get there other than fly? Oh yes - boats! Let's take a boat.....

I agree with Pat...maybe we should invade the village and help it live up to its name.

Somehow just the name "Giggleswick" makes me want to live there...

Great pictures. England is even more beautiful than I thought. I can truly relate to

your closing lines; I'm sure I could be content some where else other than the States.
