Beautiful green and lush but yes, the lyme and dreadful west nile has to visit too. Ugh.
and it's good news about your friend. I imagine she is 'fearful'. Human nature. Bless her heart and as always, yours too TAPS.

Yes, I understand your explanation about fear. It happened to me - which is why I am so irrational about snakes. I am praying for Carey Ann -certainly a frightful experience.

I hope John is really cautious over all those buggy dangers. I have no idea what happened to Jimmy A and I guess somebody upset him with his PTSD and I'm sorry he's gone.

Your son is wise to check Phil carefully. No need for complicated health
issues if they can be prevented.... I, too, love the green growth and don't mind a gentle rain, but Ma Nature can keep the floods, the terrible winds and destruction to herself.

I am so glad your niece is doing so much better. It is a scary situation. But God is greater than anything. That green looked so great. I hope the flying warriors stay away from your area this year.

we have the mosquitoes here and it is hot and sticky suddenly so being outside completely covered is not as pleasant as it was last week.
All the best to your brave niece She is a fighter and prepared to fight for her life all the way. Still praying for her recovery.

We have had some rain lately in Baltimore but not as much as you from what I gather. We had rain called for two days this week that did not materialize.
Interesting thoughts on fear.

We've been luxuriating in brilliant Southern Ontario sunshine and warm winds, perfect for sailing though I haven't done any, unfortunhately - but whatever you have whatever you have we are sure to get sooner or later, unless it gets dumped somewhere in Ohio or Michigan - now that would be nice, LOL...And my very best wishes go out again to Carey Ann...
