I cook in batches, too. Never liked going to the trouble to cook a
complete, well-balanced meal for just one. Nice chicken crockpot stew will last 4 or 5 days, longer if portioned into freezer containers.

I myself have never cooked anything. I ought to learn...That sounds like a plan for the mid June meal.

I understand your Eeeek! For me turkey is strictly a ritual to be endured on certain occasions, e.g. Christmas and Thanksgiving, and only because I can't seem to convince my environment to go for oysters on the half-shell, sashimi and caviar...

eeks is right. But s you know Son #3 can do no wrong where I am concerned so yes freeze it and thaw and smother with exciting dressings and lovely crisp salad on a sandwich roll.
