My boys would bark at people riding by, but they never ran out onto the road to chase. That was not allowed and they knew it. The 2 car idea was a good one.

What a horrible experience! In many years of riding my bike I have never experienceed anything like that. When I was still running a lot, I had the odd dog come out of the yard to come after me, driving me wild with fury because it interrupted my rhythm - so usually I turned around snarling and went for the dog - it never failed, they always turned tail, LOL...

I had a bread run years ago and it was get control of the dog situation or give up. That person knew they were really in trouble and took advantage of your bruised and battered condition to threaten you. You poor little girl. Very scary experiences.

I was bit by a dog while jogging in N.C., it wasn't bad but still a bite. I had the owner
show me the dog's papers. It had all its updated shots but I still went to the doctors
to get checked out. I had a similar experience with the dog owner and some of her
neighbors. They thought it was my fault. Weird people.
