Those games against the teams closest to us are fun. The Orioles and Nationals have yet to become that big against one another.

The Cards have an incredible history. I believe they are only second to the Yankees
in World Series victories--can't stand the Yankees, I'm a Mets fan. I remember the
Royals well, in the George Brett days.

And then Whitey Herzog, former Cards manager, announced a promotional item to be given away in the near future, a Whitey gnome... Imagine that.

congrats! cards were winning almost every game and then all of the sudden they played detroit and went downhill from there
