So glad it is helpful!  I found myself 'back-flashing' here, emotionally reacting to the kids here as if they were my parents, and I was the kid... guilt, shame, anxiety, expectation of being called out, scolded, punished...   Used to be this happened if I was relegated to the back seat in the car, though once I realized it, that one began to lose its grip.  Now, it was about eating what and when I like instead of only what and when I was given food. And again, once it becomes conscious, it begins to lose power. Ghosts don't stand the light of day very well.

Good post....my husband uses a rubber band on is wrist, and I have often reached over and lightly popped it for him, or simply run my finger under it to stroke his wrist, depending on how far into the green smog he seems to be.
