Re: Ah, Kabu -- my rule of never taking in something

unless it is replacing something going out was long ago scuttled. But it's not that -- it's the awful behavior of those inanimate critters!

Bro.....you are just a bonafidee member of the family, that's all...raised correctly and with proper respect for the fine art of collecting in case....you know, in case of power failure or fire/war/famine/alien attack/snakes/mold/diptheria/bats/fire ants/arthritis/fallen arches and things Martha Stewart forgot to write a book about and you might not have the right size box for......and pray your neighbors have it if you don't....civilization depends on a people like us.

I have noticed the law of item Propagation as well. Amazing how fast different items seemingly multiply.

It's a natural law: Stuff begets Stuff.

LOL! You have fully explained my own experience with Possession Propagation! I did have my suspicions - but now I have corroborating, incontrovertible evidence! It's a good thing I'm not moving, but I do face the daunting prospect of some dangerous archeological expeditions into the far corners of my basement - and yes, I am worried what I might encounter! Then again, if I meet members of a lost tribe, you'll find out about it here on Blogit even before it appears in the National Geographic...

Moving, one of the biggest stesses on the list...physical amd emotional and you must be the only person in the World who can make me laugh about it.

Last Summer we had a declutter summer. others went on Holidays we decluttered. Trouble is ...our own dear Wiley found a newer better variety of almost everything we tossed to the Mission shop or to landfill so that everywhere is crammed full again with the latest model of useless doesn't work stuff!!Sigh!
