I don't know exactly when but at a very early age I developed the ability to be sad about leaving one place but excited about going to a new.....I think I never looked at something as completely gone, and always found the new to be welcoming......and you had your whole life ahead of you.

It seems as though a special time in your young life was ended for some reason and deep insidde you knew that it had been an adventure, not a life long decision.

So tough it can be to leave a place that one likes. For me, I found it bittersweet to graduate. The bitter was moving on but the sweet was the milestone of moving on.
