So sorry for the back......it's like they say, getting older is not for sissies.....and they weren't kidding! I love, love, love irises and wrote earlier about getting bulbs from Bonnie to get my own cutting bed going. I miss all the bulb flowers in KC.

Oh, dear, Taps. I hope the ouchies have left you alone by now.
Thank you so much for the iris photos - I think they're one of my very favorite flowers, and these are really gorgeous.

I am sorry you are having a hard time. Old age would not be so bad if it was not for the pain that comes along with any little change in anything. These Iris are so beautiful. Tell them there are two old stories about keeping snakes away from chickens. Wrap the place in a Hemp Rope, you may not be able to get it there, still can in Canada I think. I mean just a line of it all around theplace the other is that they will not go near Moth Balls just crush them and make a path around the chicken house or get a batch of cats. Cats are a real ruler when it comes to snakes.

So sorry about the pain. I find that by tomorrow I alternate hot with cold and it works. I only take Tylenol when am going to bed at night. so hope you are soon better. Yes the stormy tornado weather plays havoc with the body. We are struggling too.
Those iris have just turned that chicken farm into what was a beautiful happy loving home into a delight forever. Wow.
