Yes I expect I have told you some boys used to chew pitch, the most strangest was pull a live bullet apart and chew the sticks of cordite that were inside. It was hot.

I chewed bubble gum and blew bubbles...in fact, bubbles within bubbles, within bubbles....my mom even said she at times came to check on me before bed and found me blowing bubbles in my sleep! And I did ake up a couple of times with my hair stuck to my pillow from bubbles burst!LOL! I did, however, have to follow "gum rules" or get in trouble.

I was never allowed to chew gum as a child so I never really have much. A bit when I was smoking that's all.

I very rarely chew gum now a days. Although, as a kid I chewed it and got popped
for it a couple of times.
