- Go to EAST TEXAS TRIP...REUNION WITH THE TREES
I love trees, have always loved trees, and now I live in a bush among them. I understand perfectly what you are feeling.

This is why I prefer to live in Northern New England, where the three states are
70 to 80% wooded. Trees are valuable in many ways.

It can be very tough moving at such a young age...We had a blogger here a few years back named Elysian Fields, who was from Texas. I wonder whatever happened to her.

Nice blog, one can feel the emotional trauma that you travel through . I had to cut a smallish apple tree down yesterday, It never has very good apples, but it isn't a nice thing to do.

I don't like to call any particular place my favorite since I am still exploring the world and there is more that I haven't seen compared to what I have seen. Beirut and Cancun are so far at the top of my list. Both are located on the coast and have beautiful views and sunsets.

I was in a strange Land, with a man I knew but had never met but 3 days before...yet I walked into the kitchen of this dear little house looked around and said to myself...I am Home. For the first time in 40 years since I left my parents home, I was home. I will never really understand except that it has to be the love I have here, something that had been missing from my life for 40 years.

I can really share your experience - trees and woods played a large part in my childhood as well, and to this day I just love exploring the woods together with my doggies, with Jag and now with Bennie...
