We had a gorgeous linden tree in our front yard growing up. It must have been 75 ft.
high. I believe the linden tree is also called a basswood.

You must be in my psychic stream for it was the trees I had such a hard time leaving in East Texas....I probably took no fewer than a hundred photos trying to hang onto them....and I've been trying to gather my thoughts for a tree post all morning. I'm so glad you're on the way to healing your yard's injury....and that you'll have your desired linden.🌹❤️💋🌳

Hopefully the new trees will not catch the disease Naut. We must wait and see. Stumps look grim anyway. Glad that you had your choice, don't let Ben examine it.
