Since she is so new here, and seems a bit overwhelmed, I think I will give here til next first of the month and see how she progresses.

Our tenants always pop up once a month to drop off the cheques, and we use it as an excuse to have a great chat! We've discussed switching to electronic payments, but everyone found an excuse to keep going with the "old fashioned" way - none of us wants to loose a reason to gab!!
I hope the new management gets settled in quickly, then maybe you can get back to enjoying the monthly socializing

I would mention it to the new director. Maybe when they realize how it was appreciated, they'll do the same. Sometimes people are just not aware. The worst that could happen would be that she ignore your suggestion.

Re: Maybe the new office needs time to evolve a personality.
I'm sure you're right. She seems like a nice, pleasant lady.

Gradually every aspect of gentle ,respecful, comfortable and face to face living has become eroded from our world. Sometimes I feel as isolated as my ancestors must have when they went farming in the bush...except they would meet once a week for Church. We meet on the Internet.

The old ways of business seem to be nearing an end. Better to just treat everything as if it had no feeling.

I could do virtually all my banking electronically, but I still like to pop in at my branch and flirt with the tellers, at least the women...

That seems to happen a lot at banks when they are taken over. They seem to lose employees and their personality.
Definitely sounds like a good incentive to go paperless.
