Ignorance is a common malady of the politician. This is going on in all the countries where there is a large population of Islams.

I wonder how many other political parties are pandering to their interests.

The outlawing of 'Islamophobia' reminds me of when people for the Iraq War said that those against it were not patriotic and when people for the Affordable Care Act said those against it were racist. Obviously, the outlawing of 'Islamophobia' is way more extreme.

Nautikos

This is such a strange time for us, for our time, with our view of civilization.  I read this and I find myself filled with the strangest sense of sadness I never realized I felt about a sense of loss of what I can only describe as a "motherland"...and I never realized I actually looked at England as a motherland; although, of course, it is.  That probably made no sense but I'm too bummed out by this whole post to go back and try again.  Really, Naut...this is horrible.
