Oh I wouldn't give my kids sweets when they were little other than dessert or holiday sweets but then my mom gave them frosted flakes and it was hard to get them to eat other cereal after that

Sounds as though grandma thinks the baby is in the great depression. A bit different if it was just fed on skimmed milk and potatoes.

I echo Kabu's sentiments. If obesity is to be gotten under control, childhood obeisity needs to be addressed.

I am totally with your beautiful daughter on this. She and hubby and the dr. are on the right track for bubby to remain healthy and active. I am like you, don't interfer and I cannot believe tha other Granmother just went against the parents wishes.
