Naut, Karl Marx is a bad word! I'll try to catch up later.

My first course in philosophy was taught by Sheila Ruth, who edited
and contributed to the textbook. It and the class were titled "Issues in Feminism." It was
in '79 or '80, when women's studies were first being planted in the tidy curriculum of
forward-thinking academia. She talked about Aristotle and those other old boys with a
great deal of humor and authority. And she would approve of your blog today, as a good
first step. Please continue, Prof. Nautikos...

I loved Philosophy the one semester....or was it a year....it was my major. I'll never forget the first course...the professor's tie always....I mean always, had gravy stains on it; well, I assumed they were gravy stains from breakfast.....could be wrong, of course. Anyway, I still love it....just don't test me on who said what...ever.

Interesting and after I complete Marcus Aurelius Meditations I shall have a go at Aristotle perhaps.

I am off to the canteen for a coffee and donut....The Philosophers always have that affect on me. LOL...I do try to keep up with them but they nearly always lose me once I get too involved. LOL.

I am glad that you are making it simple for the layman to understand Naut. It is easier to follow, but harder to explain I guess.
