Naut

It seems I have a LOT of catching up to do - I'll hold off with any "useful" comments until I can go back and read the full "lesson".

It is sociology, not physical science Naut. A syudy'ds needed to determine if there's intelligent life on earth.

Nicely done, Naut.

The big question about humanity has always been the one posed by Rodney King a few years back, about the riots in Watts & Los Angeles. "Why can't we all just get along?"

You do a great job analyzing sociology and anthropology.

 focusing on groups."Vermont

Now that comment from Vermont made me understand something, so my question to you was a waste of time and your the teacher. WTF

Okay....okay....I'll just listen from now on.  No individuals, just groups....I got it.  But still, Naut, when I think about history...you know I'm a romantic....and I'm going to go into the individual, get into the skin of the person, their life....like an old gold coin I have that some besotted lover rubbed one side off and had his sweetheart's initials engraved in, they were called 'lover's tokens' ...I hold that and imagine the woman that was given to all those years ago when that was a spending coin and what those days were like, what she wore, did they marry, what their house was like, etc....that's history to me.

South East Asia should be a gem for any anthropologist to wish to work... marry that with paleontology and there are some really interesting discoveries being made. Conclusions that may or may not hold.

I suppose ten imigrants would have be a cultural shock to the natives. Half a million and the senses are deadened.
