Wow, that is a success story for sure.
I think I would get a rejection if I tried to donate anything myself! (I have MS and since they don't know what causes it, I doubt they'd want my parts? I am chicken to even ask about donating blood. Something about being officially a reject that I don't like.)

Good for you! There's such a shortage out there. I hope that when you're done with your organs, compatible recipients are found.

I'm an organ donor and proud of it. All I ask is that they wait till I'm done with them.
