It's not about the cake
For bf to have been mad that long, I think he was pissed about more than the Betty Crocker facial. Do you think it might be like the old thing where you close your eyes and fall backward, trusting that your partner will catch you? Maybe he thought you wouldn't do it, and you did and it surprised him... you caught him off guard and it made him feel insecure. Or, maybe he's just a dick.
