Unfortunately for most people there has always been some background terror lurking.
Humans forget very quickly, once a war is over life continues after picking up the pieces.
Of course today we are plunged into any drama that occurs world wide. The present one seems unnecessary brutal, sadly history does not confirm this.

They caught a group of radical kids in Australia this weekend. Kids that they have watching. pretty much unheard of in Australia until recent years...i cannot understand why people who hate each other, do not understand each other, invite and accept to live together.

I remember when the Oklahoma City Bombing occurred. I was in third grade.
Here is to hoping that we can live in a world without terrorism.

I understand that you fear what is to come. We have only been served appetizers for the main courses they plan to inflict on us. I think I will soon write about why I no longer fear them. I too lived through WWII from the beginning. This is different.

Thank you for that! And because the tide, the tsunami, (Why do I always, almost without thinking, pick watery images??? LOL) keeps on rising, and beause it is the only significant source of terror, for some time now I have spoken of Muslim terror, and will contue to do so...
