Those screws are called Robertson #1 #2 #3 best screwdriver of the lot Cdn made Red handle is #2 Green is #1. You drive a screw with those it never comes out.

You could have painted a little ddesign on the paint to pretty it up I suppose. Or not. The main thing is privacy and the pleasure of having fixed up somethings that needed doing.

I would have suggested a pane of frosted glass, simply because it might allow more light to come through, but maybe your solution works out well...
