As in so much 'reporting' today, and as you describe very well, the 'balanced point of view' is missing! The 'agenda' sticks out like a sore thumb...

I agree. Stand still and face the music. You have a better chance if you are innocent to walk away then if you turn and run escalating the circumstances.
I haven't seen the video of North Carolina. So I can't give my opinion.
Ferguson is still undergoing major changes. They were supposed to demonstrate or riot again on the 14th but since I don't watch the news and haven't been on fb much this week I can't say whether that happened or not.

I always adore your posts our Strat, wonderful to have your you back with articles to laugh at and like this one to think over.

Strattie...well, after I screwed up and hit enter in the subject line, I then entered a two paragraph comment, agreeing soooo much with you, lightening struck somewhere around here and I didn't have a chance to add it before everything went off in the house and I'm not going to chance retyping everything I said because thing are still squirrely but didnt want to chance leaving everything hanging so long like I did!! So, for now, just know I thing this is your usual excellent....totally common sense....column!
