Naut, being the student, this is why I gave the example of love. Love is an emotion.
Emotions are studied in the social sciences. Being the methods you described so far,
such as validity and reliability...are used in the s.s., types of emotions can be
falsified by scientists. So, someone's claim of the emotion ''love'' being a chemical....
Just an example.

No,Vt,you cannot "falsify" CCT's or anybody else's poem! Science has nothing to say about poems - poetry is beyond science.....:)

I am suddenly having a problem knowing how to do this....I keep typing your name and hitting enter and it finalizes things!...Oh, well...Anyway, another great teaching post, Professor Naut! I loved the either or line:
There are many people who have a kind of faith that science cansolve all our problems. And then there are many people who have another kind of faith – that science is the problem, or at least a problem.
I think that I am maybe a third type....the person that thinks the first type of people, the ones who think that science cn solve all our problems and swallow every theory hook line and sinker, believe every study, spend every dollar on more research...that those people are the problem because they are not using enough balance and common sense.
