Mundane has its moments just like everywhere else. it's a sorry sad old world that never seems to get any better. I am thanking my God that you did not get mixed up in any of the Circus.

Last fall they had our quiet street blocked top and bottom, and brought in the tactical squad with body armor and submachine guns, and people were at their windows and on their front lawns, and some people brought out chairs and a beer or two - it was a fun occasion! Eventually they brought a guy out I had never seen before from a house down the street, and the crowd sort of melted away...I heard the next day it was a drug bust - a big one apparently! On our quiet street? Tsk, tsk...
