Re: Re: Kabu,
I do know but I keep letting myself down and Oh dear. Talk about knocking my head against a brick wall. Sigh

Sometimes the dream is too perfect Ciel. I love your poem though. Every one wants to be loved, but they also want someone perfect at least in their eyes.

Human beings often have so much in common, and yet they can feel so alone and like no one has ever experienced what I feel.

That is so beautifully done and yet so sad. I felt this way before I experienced a new birth in Christ many many years ago and now there is no fear, loss, pain associated with love.

Re: Pat,
I put this here, in part, because a lot of people behind their own walls need to know they are seen and acknowledged, and not as alone as they feel. As you say, it's an 'at times' kind of thing for many of us, but for some, it's the base-line, the door-knob to which their suspenders are hooked, just like in a cartoon, that always snatches them back.

Re: Kabu,
Sometimes we have one end of the stick, sometimes we are holding the other. I am realizing that if someone is angry with me, it does no good to try to placate or absorb the punishment they want me to bear. How they see the world is not necessarily how the world is, even when we have to deal with their truth. We absolutely must not lose sight of our own!

Wow, I've felt this at times, but never put it into those exact words.
Thank you!

Thank you for an amazing poem! You have put in words thoughts that are not strange to me, though I have overcome them by a magic quantum leap...
