this. I think the joyous season would encourage fond memories but sad thoughts.

Nice writing about your mom like that...fondest wishest going your way. We always carry them in our hearts. Personally, I don't associate a season with anything that happened ten...I keep happenings separate and when I think of a person I don't concentrate on the fact that they died, I remember their life.
