I have a couple of questions. If you wanted to help the woman just give her the twenty. If you wanted her to be something she obviously was not, you failed her as much as she did you.We have the option to keep company with whomever we choose but we do not have the choice to try to remake the people to fit our choice of what they should be.

Well, I'm glad you didn't go after her for the money since she had been abused and seemed frightened. It wasn't right of her to take it but sounds like she was pretty desperate...still not right but pitiful. I mean, I'd give a dog $20 worth of food to keep it off the streets....I get so dang conflicted on these things! And really glad you found a place with no food fights! Yuk! (still suffering over that one...)

re your comment at my post...I will be a Canuck as in Canadian but for hockey!!! Montreal HABS for sure and Senators very close behind cos Ottawa is just down the road an hour or so. Other than that for me it is Aussie football, Cricket, and soccer. Oh and skating and the Olympics, Summer and winter. I will have dual Citizenship...too hard at my age to give up my Australian citizenship.
