Me, too. Can't wait for Neil DeGrasse Tyson to explain it on Channel 9...

Well I find this quite intriguing Naut. Thank goodness we don't feel Earth sick traveling and spinning through space, hard to imagine that one day the sun will burn out, but I suppose we shall be annihilated before then.

I heard a closely related subject on VPR about six mts. ago. I even mentioned it in a
comment last month regarding a religion based subject.

Thank you.... For some reason what you are saying gives me this whole feeling of be careful little boy or you might get what you ask for - you know what a cynic I am about these answers that scientists have. Is there such a thing as an atheist about science? And I have no idea where I got it!! Thank you for your patient guidance (meaning, not throwing bricks through the screen!)

A better understanding of the universe indeed. How fascinating. According to Stephen Hawking, the nature of dark matter and dark energy is the missing link in cosmology.

Re: Nautikos
Krisles, if they find it they will do nothing with it or to it - they can't! But it will lead to a better understanding of the Universe of which we are part, and that is a worthy end in itself...

I've read about that too. And although their final discoveries may be interesting, I somehow can't help wondering if their time and energy ( and money ) couldn't be more useful in some other endeavor . . .

Any idea(s) what they'll do with/about it when they find it? Ha! I'm so clueless I don't even know how to phrase the questions!
