I remember when Cousin Amanda was two months old. My aunt put her in one of those chairs, and she slept through her older sister's birthday party...I would not have been thinking about kids either when I had first gotten the residence.

That is so sweet. I know you enjoy your time with him even when he gets tired and cranky. The grandchildren are so sweet. He is cute as a doll.

Cute little Averee. Yep, you'll have to move any poisonous stuff in your kitchen cabs up high or get locks....cover all outlets or get those stick-in plugs....and move anything that can fit in his mouth. I personally am not a big proponent of moving your other things unless it's something valuable and then it's foolish to risk; otherwise, being consistent with discipline and making the child live in the environment vs changing the environment (beyond like I said above making it safe) is, IMHO, the way to go.
