I told Son #1 what I posted here and he fussed at me for feeling that way. He is an avid news watcher and wants to keep up on everything and things that everyone should keep informed even if they don't like the news.

I understand the sentiment, believe me! It's just that I don't believe 'God' will do anything by Himself - He'll do it only through us...If we just sit back and wait for him to 'do' something, we'll wait for a hell of a long time (pun intended, of course, LOL), or until someone will 'do' something to us...
