Nautikos
I have to respectfully remind VT that the very reason for the season....the continuous season in the case of this conflict is religion so it is somewhat difficult for people of faith of any kind not to bring it into any discussion about the conflict. This is not happening in a vacuum...we live in a world where the water we drink, the food we purchase, the air we breathe, the economy, every system we depend on....everything is under attack and science says this, says that, arguments abound...all with good intention, all passionate and sincere.....and outside of all this, and spreading like a cancer within....is this eternal conflict. Spinning out of control....and idiots everywhere, including myself in that description....spouting rhetoric in every venue. I tend to believe the one about there's never been an atheist with a bear about to outrun him....or not very many of them I would bet. And we live in a world full of bears. I'm grateful for all the prayers....and all the good ideas from any quarter we can get.
Sorry for that....just too concerned about this.

I am concerned about the deal as well, and in response to Adnohr's question, I am afraid not too many.

No disrespect to anyone's comments but sometimes they make you wonder on such
serious subjects. And as one knows I have been guilty of it myself. But let's take
religion out of possible solutions for a moment. You're right it is a bad deal, let's
hope it doesn't get passed through. Do ones homework and vote in every level of
election one can. Then...pray. Enjoy the holidays.

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

Sadder than the proposal is that our citizenry is so stupid that they do not even know the danger of this. Americans have been whistling Dixie instead of studying real History. Even more sad is the fact that Christians have no idea what the Bible says about what is happening. We need to blast him good, but how can we when we are so ignorant of what he is doing?
