ReJimmy:

Yes one small illness worries some folk to an early death I expect. I suppose when one aches for a fortnight it is worrying. Yes those trout were laughing. I have not seen any strays around lately, so I have given all my stuff to the cat home.

Re: Pat

Yes he is ready for the plough again Pat. It is surprising how many plants have immunity systems to stem of attacks from bugs. Also with cut flowers I always run a gloved hand down the stalks as some are quite covered with tiny prickles.

Re: Kabu

Yes he seems full of beans. I don't really want to cut back because it means grass to mow and the young plants are are dying to be put out,but it is so wet everywhere. I know an old singsong was great.

Re:Annicitia

Yes I suppose I shall keep on until I topple over A. These little flowers come up every year in really rough ground.

Re:

Yes Taps flowers go out of fashion and then come back again I didn't know they made cut flowers until I sussed out the flowers on sale each time I shopped.

Nice visual affects. Glad to hear Archie is well. Charity is great, I have always donated

to environmental, Police, and library causes. Just give what you can, everything

 counts.

Glad to hear Archie is going to be okay. Also like the cath and release of the fish. The poem landed me in that tavern, listening and watching and enjoying. Nostalgia at its finest, CCT.

Good for Archie, and good for you not to have to slave in his place.  Working together is much better for both concerned.  I love snapdragons.  We always had them when I was a child.

Sounds like you have been busy as usual.  So good to hear Archie is okay.  Love the flower pic!

Glad Archie is alright. Was a bit worried. I have my yearly charity and the rest that beg through the mail I just tear up.

I suppose you could cut back on the flowers you grow but it is nice to be busy.

And the poem, ....I miss the old ones and there are less and less who care or even knew.

Good that Archie's only dealing with everyday aches & pains...

I remember when my mother used to hike out into the wilds to harvest foxgloves, seeds I believe, for some pharmaceutical company. Folks in that area used to cut fern in the woods for the florist industry and gather other wild herbs & roots. She taught us which plants were poison - and to avoid eating anything the birds wouldn't have.

I am glad that Archie is doing better...I enjoyed reading the poem a lot.

Glad Archie is okay. I suppose he was unnecessarily paranoid. But that happens with age. I hope those trout appreciate Arthur's good sportsmanship. Yes, sometimes giving to certain charities can be like feeding a stray cat, so to speak. They may never let up. But, as long as there's some charity, your conscience should remain clear . . .
