I used to be fascinated with them as a kid. Read about them, watch them on TV.
But I certainly would not like being near an F-3, F-4....

That sound is eerie! We're lucky here - tornadoes are a very rare in this area, although they do occur in some in other parts of Ontario...

Wiley says we can get one here but I am hoping it never happens. I wouldn't like that and imagine coping with the Gnomes!!! I hope it doesn't happen to you either.

It is rare it happens here, but I can remember my son coming so close to getting caught in one when driving home from work, and my DIL hiding in her basement with the 3 rugrats while it was going on. Scary stuff! You stay safe, TAPS!.

I always feel bad when I see the devastation those tornadoes inflict out there. It must be scary always having them 'hanging over your head,' so to speak. I have an ex-girlfriend that I keep in touch with who also lives in Tulsa. I haven't heard from her in quite some time! I hope she and her family are alright . . .

It always puzzled me Taps why folk choose to live in places that can face imminent danger. I suppose it happens rarely and one grows accustomed to the risk.

I guess we have to take the risk of storms along with the flowers
and green growth. I'm beginning to understand what Grandma Lucy meant when she told me there'd be no wind in Heaven.
